Came back from the lake after a long weekend to a message from a manager I never heard of. On the positive side, I was out of work for about 6 weeks in the MIDDLE OF SUMMER. The severance package carried me through, the recruiters did the job hunting for me, so it was a vacation for the most part. I was laidoff at IBM May 31, 2007.
